Ulster Carpets individually designed carpets grace the floors of prestigious hotels, casinos, cruise ships and renowned venues the world over. With over 70% exported beyond the UK and Ireland. Cornell were appointed by Ulster Carpets to redesign and develop the digital infrastructure of their residential websites. The task was to develop a multifaceted modern site, supported by all devices and reflecting the core values of Ulster’s key business areas.

The Ulster Carpet residential website required the lion’s share of the work on this project due to the sheer number of ranges and colour combinations on offer.
The product offering along with the bespoke sample ordering system required a database driven platform to be specced and built from scratch in order to ensure that the site was easily searchable by users and easily maintainable by Ulster staff.
Ulster also wanted to use the site to promote a select number of ranges solely within the United States. We therefore use GeoIP as a means of identifying the users location in order to display the appropriate products.
We continue to support Ulster with site updates and maintenance on an ongoing basis.
